Observations
When Gandhi was asked what he thought about western civilization, he responded:” I think it’s about time!” In light of how unchecked and unrestricted profiteering by corporations and energy companies is draining the accounts of every one- I see how the western world is shortsightedly devouring itself. It seems to be the dawn of neofeudal times, and all that can bring us back from the edge of the abyss, is insisting upon our bond of humanity, integrity and the deep wish to manifest what makes up our core: to help each other and refuse the darkness of dehumanization.
what are we…?
We come and we leave empty-handed. As mentioned before, our stay may seem long, explaining why most of us waste each day as if we’d live forever – when in truth it is as brief as a dream we have, lodging one single night at a roadside inn.
So how should we REALLY look at this existence?
….Well, since we come and leave with nothing and all we have and experience is accumulated by the grace of this good earth, I think the obvious way to truly perceive our selves, is as a GUEST!
I don’t know about you, but if some one came to my house and tore it half down and littered it respectlessly, because they think I have 5 houses, I’d kick that person out.
Most of the time, that’s how we treat our Planet, as if we had 5 more in store….
Since this place is a closed Ecosystem, maybe we should teach our children how to be the greatest guests & concierges, so that whenever they see something that seems broken, their natural reaction is to try and fix it…

We come and leave empty-handed…in the brief stretch of time that is life, we should behave like welcome guests- express & show our gratitude to mother earth that houses and nourishes us so kindly…

The germans have a saying “Aller Anfang ist schwer….” meaning all beginnings are hard to do….
